Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website at https://www.horizonbrickpaver.com (the "Site") and your interactions with Horizon Brick Pavers ("Horizon," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site, requesting an estimate or consultation, or otherwise communicating with us, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Please also review our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

1. About Horizon and Our Services

Horizon Brick Pavers is a locally owned and owner-operated brick paver and hardscaping company based in Orlando, Florida, serving Orlando and Central Florida. We install paver driveways, patios, walkways, pool decks, fire pits, retaining walls, and outdoor living spaces, and we provide paver repair, re-leveling, sealing, drainage solutions, landscaping, and artificial turf installation. Horizon Brick Pavers is licensed and insured in the State of Florida.

2. The Site Is Informational

The content on the Site is provided for general information about Horizon Brick Pavers and our services. It does not constitute a quote, a binding offer, a warranty, or professional advice. Service descriptions, sample materials, project photos, pricing references, and timelines on the Site are general and may change without notice.

3. On-Site Estimates and Quotes

We offer free on-site consultations and written estimates. Any quote we provide is based on the conditions observed at the time and the information you give us about the project. An estimate does not become a binding agreement until it is set out in a written proposal signed and approved by you and Horizon Brick Pavers. Final scope, materials, and pricing are determined on-site and confirmed in your written proposal.

4. The Signed Proposal Controls

Any work Horizon Brick Pavers performs for you is governed by a separate written proposal or project agreement signed and approved by you and Horizon Brick Pavers. That signed agreement controls the scope, design, materials, base preparation, schedule, warranties, payment terms, and deposit for your project. If anything in these Terms conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls for that project.

5. Payment and Deposits

Final pricing, payment schedule, and any deposit are set out in your signed proposal. A deposit may be required before materials are ordered and before your project is placed on the install schedule. Accepted payment methods are confirmed at the estimate stage.

6. Materials, Samples, and Color Variation

Brick pavers and natural stone are made from natural materials, and color, shade, and texture vary between batches and over time. Photos on the Site, in marketing materials, and on supplier samples are representative and not an exact match for the materials installed on your property. We will discuss available styles and colors with you during the estimate process, and any specific selections are confirmed in writing in your signed proposal.

7. Scheduling, Weather, and Site Access

Paver and hardscaping work depends on weather and site conditions, including Florida heat, rain, and storm activity. We may need to reschedule for safety or quality reasons. You agree to provide safe and reasonable access to the work area, including gate, driveway, and yard access for equipment, materials, and crew vehicles, and to identify any known hazards, easements, irrigation lines, low-voltage wiring, septic components, or property-line concerns before work begins.

8. Underground Utilities and Dig Responsibility

Before excavation, locating public underground utilities through Sunshine 811 (Florida's "Call Before You Dig" service) is the customer's responsibility unless we expressly agree in writing to handle it. The customer is responsible for marking, disclosing, or arranging private locating of any non-public underground items on the property, including sprinkler systems, irrigation lines, low-voltage lighting wiring, invisible pet fences, private water or gas lines, septic systems, and any other private utilities or improvements. Horizon Brick Pavers is not responsible for damage to unmarked or undisclosed private underground items.

9. Base Preparation, Drainage, and Finished Grade

Proper paver installation requires excavation, base preparation, compaction, edge restraint, and joint sand. Final grade is set to direct water away from the home and project area as conditions allow. Existing site conditions, including grading, soil type, drainage, and roof runoff, may affect the final result. Specific drainage solutions, if any, are described in your signed proposal.

10. Sealing and Maintenance

Paver sealing is offered as a separate service. Sealing can change the appearance of pavers, including color depth, finish, and sheen, and any sealed surface may need to be re-sealed periodically depending on use, weather, and traffic. Routine maintenance, including re-sanding joints, cleaning, and weed control, is the homeowner's responsibility unless specifically included in your signed proposal. Settling can occur over time, particularly along edges and high-traffic areas. Any workmanship warranty terms are set out in your signed proposal.

11. Warranties

Workmanship and material warranties, if any, are described in your signed proposal and in the applicable manufacturer warranty documents. Nothing on the Site creates a warranty. Except as expressly stated in your signed proposal or a written manufacturer warranty, Horizon Brick Pavers makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Site or its content.

12. Reviews, Testimonials, and Submissions

Any reviews, testimonials, photos, or other content you submit to us or post about us may be used by Horizon Brick Pavers for marketing and promotional purposes. You confirm that anything you submit is truthful, is yours to share, and does not violate anyone else's rights. We may also photograph completed work on your property for our website, social media, and portfolio. If you prefer that your project not be used in our marketing, please tell us in writing before installation.

13. Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, project photos, and design, are owned by Horizon Brick Pavers or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Site without our prior written permission.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Horizon Brick Pavers and its owner, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing here affects the rights and obligations set out in your signed proposal.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Horizon Brick Pavers and its owner, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

20. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site or these Terms that is not resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the changes on this page. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

22. Severability and Entire Agreement

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest will remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Horizon Brick Pavers regarding the Site. They do not replace your signed project proposal, which governs your project.
